Brookfield trying to list a REIT. Is this good or bad for MXUPA holders??
My initial take is that it is either neutral or bad, probably bad, assuming they dont use the funds to redeem MXUPA or reduce other debt (I suspect they wont because of the cheap funding it provides.)
We are exchanging the certainty of nice rental income for some other asset play they would have on their minds. I suspect this is not entirely good.
