Initial site work and plant access will be undertaken with Loy Yang Power (LYP) and will last for several months. It has been agreed that TINCOM will pay A$100k a month for
several months to LYP. An MOU with ESI is currently being negotiated and that MOU will be novated at ESIs discretion to the SPV. A critical element of these discussions with LYP involves access to hot water from Loy Yang power station for the production of Coldry and
an agreed price for lignite.

While Coldry would be a suitable fuel for Loy Yang (a mix up to 30% is possible without any major plant expenditure and would reputedly reduce CO2 emissions by up to 5%), it is not critical to the success of the SPV as TINCOM will use the Coldry pellets to meet contracts in Asia.

The cost of establishing access to hot water for the Coldry process from LYP is estimated to be a one-off A$5M. Failure to secure this access will require the JV partners to generate their own heat and electricity.
