1. They're in the game of flipping shares for small profit, get their cash back, rinse and repeat.
2. Companies need cash to operate. Other options would be to pay exorbitantly to do a public raising (pay for prospectus, brokerage, take energy away from sms deal, financing, offtake) or fold the company. Which do you recommend?
You could also blame the crashing share price on a lack of buyers.
