The Boardroom Radio presentation out today (lasts just over 8 minutes) is well worth a careful listen.

Now some posters in recent times since QPN announced that it was to acquire 80% of the Ranau project have suggested that it would be a long time before anything would be seen from the purchase. That any activity was some time off.

However, Brett Mitchell said that if everything fell into place, then drilling of the first well could start before the end of 2011.

Now that is very significant.

It is also significant that he indicated that there had been drilling in the past (I think he meant in the area that QPN will acquire - must listen again) and that gas discoveries had been made but ignored because of lack of infrastructure to deal with it.

So are they going to rediscover some of those gas zones and be able to hook them up quickly to the now existing pipelines in the area ??????

Is QPN onto something that could indeed be "transformational" for the company ?

Another 6 months or so of "anticipation"
