sadly, that is my conclusion also...what i hold is free carried but i consider it worthless..there are so many games played on equity markets...the deck is really stacked against retail investors
eg. major insto's now buy and sell at same price in nanoseconds and pocket a fraction of one cent...do that millions of time each day and it adds up...if regulators were worth a dam n they would make a rule that any order has to exist for at least one second
