I was a senior geophysicist for Esso Australia in the 80's, I was QC for most of the Bass strait seismic, and parts of the North of Australia, all I can say is you buy a ticket.... and hope. I have seen seismic that screams reservoir, only to drill and get nothing, famously Bass Strait was identified by a visiting American and his nose (there was a smell).

I like Buru, and if they strike oil the share price could go 100x given the direction of oil prices in the next few years, if they get nothing, well it was a cheap ticket.
