Labor wants a moratorium on fracking while it does yet another enquiry, which will come up with the same result as all previous enquiries. Just another uneccessary political delay.
But the main point here is that BRU has many options and the main one is continuing the succesfull oil exploration along the Ungani trend where there are many low risk high reward targets. None of that needs fracking. Then there is the extremely large Laurel formation wet gas that appears to have massively large reserve potential, some but not likely all, requires fracking.BRU will be looking closely at less tight formations in the Laurel where fracking is not neccessary BRU has the potential to supply gas to multiple users ranging from mining companies, industrial users in the south, and multiple new projects . In addition BRU currently hires a number of TO's who are mostly all onside with BRU. Still waiting to get the TO's at Yulleroo onside but shouldn't be long. Only a semi literate fool politician would delay BRU's momentum.
