For what it is worth I enjoy reading both of your posts. They approach the issue of risk from a different angle. The reality is that to make an informed decision about the status of an investment in a E&P company you need to understand both sides of the story as the timing can be everything in this game.

I don't hold at present but have held a couple of times in the last year. Would love to be able to buy back in at these levels. This is a free kick if I have ever seen one with miles of upside and hardly any downside.
