BRU is proving up the Laurel formation. This formation is predominantly found on BRU's licenses. BRU is targeting tight gas with liquids. NSE are drilling the Goldwyer. Targeting Goldwyer shale and Bongabinni and Nita formations. They are different source rocks. NSE is a post salt formation play and BRU's key formation being the Laurel is pre salt. I need to educate myself a little more with this so maybe Anatol will be able to explain it better.

The following article from the DMP website was a nice quick read which explained the different petroleum systems being targeted. I personally feel NSE are oversold.

Regional play analysis of the central Canning Basin

The recent Cyrene well targeting unconventional oil and gas in the Goldwyer you would think bodes positively for NSE and also BRU. BRU have a large portion of their licenses sitting on the Goldywer prospective oil window. BRU also have conventional oil with Ungani and many follow up targets on the Ungani trend.

If I got something wrong apologies. I only just made some quick reading.
