Bad news today from the Victorian Supreme Court with its decision that Parks Vic is not required to liase with The Community before authorising a cruel Brumby cull. Read it for yourselves. It is saying the Australian people have no rights with regard to parks management. But do not be broken. There is an appeal on its way. This is a grassroots movement to Save the Brumbies from a bloodbath. The shooters kill spot on a horse is quite small... and from a distance? There has been a massive increase in followers to Brumby support groups. Donations for legal costs can be made to Rural Resistance. Please also look at Brumby Lives Matter for posts which tell of our Brumby History and their amazing place in our heritage. There are also many visual guides which show that it is the pigs and deer which are causing the most severe damage. Revenue from their kill licences and game tourism? Also see pictures of the thriving skink populations and healthy grass lands where the horses roam free. Again, I am no expert, but just ask people to have a look and to respect the people who live in the area and traverse these lands regularly. The KNP also boarders NSW and now the Brumbies are threatened there as well. Repeat, no one is saying that the Brumby population should grow and grow, no one is saying there should not be a management plan. Just want no cruelty and a voice for those who know the Brumbies - they can even tell the bloodlines! amazing devotion.
