One thing Packer is not short of at the moment is cash.
A very good article in last weekends papers chronicling his liquidation of non-core assets such as the US Hoyts Cinema's gives an insight into how he has repeated his cashing up exercise that he also performed prior to the last big stockmarket meltdown.
Not criminal imo, just very astute.
