This is exactly what I was saying the other day.
People who consistently write/report matters in a factual way backed up by evidence get respect and do well.
People who start putting their own agenda on things, telling half-truths or bending the 'facts' to suit their own means end up losing credibility as people who read/rely on their research start to question the motives in their reporting.
Once you lose credibility, its hard to get it back...
