All well and good to slag off BS, I'm sure if he were writing positive things (even if they were in "unprofessional") manner nobody would be complaining. Not standing up for the guy, but posters need to remove their personal biases.

For me by far the most interesting part of the link was to remind me of Wesizwe. So I reacqauinted myself with the BFS of the project, dated 31st March 2007.

It is remarkable how similar this is to Garatau; ownership disputes, 350,000 oz pa, NPV similar, check out those IRR's for base and medium cases.

Also illuminating are the metal price assumptions made at the time, certainly well below what is prevailing today for all but high case.

Now remember that a Chinese co has offered $250M for 50% equity + loan of $650M. They MUST believe that the project is worth $850m+. Garatau must be worth a similar amount (ie. 100+cps)

Now if NKP can only secure rights to Garatau, there is PLENTY of upside left for NKP. This may be a fantastic trade on open panic, particularly using some TA to trade with the smart money. All subject to company announcements.

The BFS is well worth a read:

I would welcome any further technical/financial comparisons with Wesizwe.
