Posts often dwell on how bad the Bluescope management is and the resulting bitterness among the workforce.
This will all be ancient history in time...and what exactly will unfold we need to wait and see.
But the buyers are back with a vengeance today. Tomorrow....who knows?
This stock is in demand LT and you won't read about in the papers.
My feeling as a former buyer of PK products including the stainless mill which once existed under 25% tariff protection is that some people need to get over it all. I have the feeling that the men have somehow ended up with idea that they "own the mill" and therefore anything less than "them" calling the shots is not acceptable. This is perfectly reflected in the CEO spending most of his life appearing before the Labor lawyer dominated Fair Work commission. FGS how long does it take to penetrate that companies are owned by shareholders.
If I've got it wrong...well boo hoo. Steel just went down the gurgler pure and simple (GFC, China steel mills, Australian manufacturing gone offshore) and many lost heaps including this poster - and many lost jobs. We seem to have difficulty sucking things up - like jobs for life doesn't exist any more. People who entertain the simple "solution" of PK processing cheap Chinese feed decades out into the future are marrying their thinking into a time warp again - THAT WILL CHANGE TOO! Man does not have a great track record for predicting anything.
I am a buyer....when the dust settles in Canberra we will need steel for the next hundred years and BSL will be the elephant in the room, not some snivelling trading company like Sanwa in the import space.
