This is the first I've heard of Vinfast actually planning to be a battery manufacturer.....IMO given BSX has stated publically they are in discussions with Vinfast then it would appear that it is almost a fait au compli Vinfast will secure its supply chain and reduce its battery's construction unit costs by making an equity investment in BSX either at just the DBU level or right across the business. Yes speculation only but how many ducks have to be a row before you can make a rationale decision on the future outlook for Ni mining and battery production in this Vietnam.
