Ok I should rephrase, I was referring to a move away from Ni content in the battery. There is a price where this happens, plenty of R&D under way to always look for cheapest source material, years away yet, but gets speed up when price of existing batteries gets too high.
Main point was HPAL start ups are good and not to be feared!! $20-25k/t range would keep every one happy.
There is a price that is too high for EV, because that extra cost always gets past to consumer, and they simply won't buy it
