Noone can compete with BSX for green nickel but the game has changed in Indonesia this year. They're looking at using HPAL on laterite deposits now which makes them more attractive from an ESG viewpoint. BSX has invested in NC1 which will be using the same process on it's laterite deposits in Australia too. CATL has invested $6b and LG Chem $9b in battery production facilities in Indonesia recently.
