Mine life is irrelevant is a huge overstatement, especially that BSX have no binding supply aggrements with any miners or third party feed suppliers.

Look at QPM, their business model is somewhat similar to BSX's and they have binding supply agreements from New Caledonia for 100% of the feedstock they need for next 10 years. Bsx have no supply or offtake agreements currently, that's why it's important to boost the minelife and decrease reliance on 3rd party feed, especially if the NCM mineral prices start to rocket. 2025 project commissioning starts to look like a dream if SW doesn't start delivering to the dot.
