everyone has an opinion - and its good to share it on the forum
you say the asset are removed from the true value of bsx
that because if the resource is underground and bsx has not extracted the resource to sell - there is little value.
asset is determine by what the market or someone who is willing to pay for it. just like bhp buying oz mineral for $9b (?)
therefore if the resource is underground and no one is willing to develop the mine - what is it worth then.??
if there are other better quality and cheaper mines ie. in indonesia - why would someone waste their money to develop the one at bsx.
right now the market does not believe bsx can develop the mine - therefore sp is reflecting that.
therefore the mine is worth very little - no one cares about resource that underground and progress on the mine development is uncertain (delayed) and unsure if it will ever be developed..... too many unknowns which the market does not like.
