I think Rick raised some good points even if it's his first post on HC. In my humble opinion, the management indeed lacks some executive & execution experience, which you would expect from a potentially billion dollar company. I like Scott's work, but someone with 20+ years operations management experience would be great to further derisk the project.

Attracting skilled executives to the company like Alison would be definitely helpful, but I would be careful adding more 'fat' into the management. I personally would be happier with an exec, who has vast management/operations experience in mining and not in fluffy industries like management consultancy or not for profits.
