BT Thought

Hi all - newbie here and my first post.....
First of all let me explain my situation - my youngest daughter has Rett Syndrome and due to this when she was diagnosed I scoured the internet for trials - which brought NNZ-2256 to my attention.
After much research into Neuren and with many comments on this excellent forum - I decided to purchase shares as well (with profits - if any - going to helping my daughter)
Now - the question I have is that although NNZ-2256 seems to be an excellent product and results are very exciting - aren't the results the same as the IGF-1 trial results (https://www.facebook.com/Igf1StudyFamilyUpdates)??
And also sticking my neck out here - as IGF-1 already exists wouldn't this be a cheaper/easier to get drug?
I am thinking that if/when I approach the NHS (from UK) - wouldn't they recommend that I go with the cheaper option that is already available?
Sorry that this isn't a financial query (I am certainly not an expert in either medical or financial matters) but thought I would mention this...
One last thing - does anybody know if there is a process in place once FDA has approved - to get this in the UK???
