To reward the small shareholders who have been loyal to the company through the last few rough years. This is BTA managements way of showing gratitude towards them.
Two thirds of BTA shareholders are holding parcels of 5000 shares or less so they are the main beneficiaries of the SPP.
The SPP will definitely go on.
I think the SPP has already been factored into the share price. YOu have to remember that when the SPP was announced the share price fell from $1.10 to the low nineties. Had the SPP not been announcedthat day, the shar price would have been $1.20 as $1.10 was its year high at the time and was shhoting up like a rocket.
