Bitcoin Tumbles to $67K as Asia Begins Trading Day
A prediction market contract on Polymarket gives a 38% chance that BTC will close above $70,000 by noon Friday in the U.S. Eastern Time, down from a high of 90% earlier this week.
If you examine the track record of Bitcoin, it's hard not to conclude that the upcoming halving will produce some truly spectacular gains. In three previous halving cycles (in 2012, 2016, and 2020), it has skyrocketed to new all-time highs.
Solana-based meme coins have already made big waves during this cycle.

Recall that dogwifhat (WIF) and Bonk Inu (BONK) received support from Binance and other exchanges, while their market caps briefly exceeded the $3 billion mark.
