Plenty of people have lost their life savings outside of crypto and the precious metals area as well.
That's a fact!
Obviously your memory doesn't serve you well with things that have occurred like the .com bubble and GFC (just to name a few) and don't forget the many failed small business that people get themselves into thinking they're business is going to be the next big thing only to be wound up etc.
But let's not get truth in the way of a dig at those goldbugs and crypto mob.
Though I do agree on not having all ones eggs in the one basket.
