Chaps and or course ladies, the posts here on BTR always make for good reading and having been in this stock for many years since the AIM days I can concur its been a real ride.
I am based in the UK so thought I would offer some juice regards the Euro crisis and how this could effect us on BTR.
Having spoken to some very clever people the opinion is that Greece on the 15.06.12 will exit the Euro, Spain carries a large chunk of this so they will surely follow, France is also at risk which would suprise many. Portugal and Ireland would be on the edge. All in all its very much on the cards that we will see a major correction in the Euro zone, Germany being the strongest can survive. We expect the markets here to drop as low as 4000.
Back to BTR the Indicated JORC is due before the end of June, given that the pension funds and hedge funds require this Indicated status to invest it could go both ways now if it hits prior to the 15th then I think we will see a nice jump but if the Greece crisis unfolds then this wonderful news could have a very dark cloud hanging over it.
I think we would all agree that BTR is so undervalued so heres a thought, given the 80% uplift on Perkoa and the massive resource in Zambia I think we sould all batten down the hatches and sit tight. This company can survive another recession and for sure SL is already working on a JV for our copper project. The question is when will we see a true multipul of dollars..........2 - 3 years I reckon, till then if your brave enough to catch it right then jump in and out with the market. But be under no illusion the Greek mess and the rest of europe is going to seriously effect this stock and all other for some time to come.
