I think that it is very improbable that BHP is buying BTR piece by piece. The traded volumes are to low. Without the okay of the largest shareholder it more or less impossible to take over BTR. At least not at 1 dollar....2 dollars ? Maybe....would be more then nice to see such a share price.
When I bought BTR (AIM) between 20-35 cents, the "market" and the big boys were of the opinion that the company should be worth 1 dollar at least, 1.60 in the best case. This would mean that in a perfect world the share price should rise to 10-16 dollar. Just a dream or "fundamentally" possible ???
In every case something is going on behind the curtains for sure !
