    John, investor roadshows might cost money, it would cost the company next to nothing to present a little more detail about the financials and rationale behind the move.

    I had initially assumed it was a company in distress situation as I had believed Express Data to be a larger player than Dicker.

    Upon further investigation, Express is owned by Dimension Data who are in turn owned by Nippon Telegraph & Telephone and are a US$62B company, so it isn't a distressed sale and it is likewise fair to assume Nippon wouldn't have an Australian micro-cap slip the deal of a lifetime past them (though there can be value when large firms make decisions to vacate niche areas).

    David Dicker and Fiona Brown own 95% of Dicker Data, and you are effectively placing your trust in their judgement, for if they want to travel this path then it's down this way we go.

    I am fascinated to see how this will re-shape the business, but I do concur that some basic financials around the sale, rather than mentioning the price as an afterthought would be most welcome - Eternalgrowth
