Whilst the founders are distinctly in control of DDR with c. 90% of the shares outstanding they still need to realise that the company is a public entity and shareholders need to be informed.
The accompanying 1 page announcement - which originally didn't even discuss the acquisition price and was later updated - is not satisfactory.
I will give DDR time to provide a Presentation document for shareholders outlining the transaction before casting judgement... but c'mon management, don't treat shareholders like mushrooms.
