Bellamys will not have cfda until second half 2018 (by their own admission).

One, and ONLY one, Australian manufacturer already has cfda for cow and goat infant formula and existing distribution into more than 3000 stores in china.

Bubs will not have cfda for 4-6 months after they have chosen their cnca accredited manufacturer. Only the manufacturer will be able to make the application on bubs behalf. 2-3 weeks from application submission CFDA issues a registration application receipt and that is when the approval process has commenced.

Chinese retailers stopped placing orders for product unless/until either (a) the brand was a MAJOR brand and/or (b) the brand could prove they had been officially registered by cfda. Chinese retailers are very risk averse (as in all countries) and would not risk having money tied up in a brand that would not continue being able to be sold in the future.

At present there are inly 5 imported approved 100% goat formula brands. Bubs is unlikely to be approved until second half 2018.
