Very interesting to hear that „sunflower-oil“ is part of infant formula! Why?
Our daily food should have an omega-6/omega-3 ratio of 1 : 1 because both essential fatty acids use the same enzyme system in our body! Unfortunately the actual ratio in western diets is about 25 : 1! For our babies we should have at least 2 : 1 (like in cow‘s milk)! Sunflower oil has a ratio of 280 : 1!!!
So US babies have a very bad start….!! Shame on such an industry!
