I know it was a joke. You even had "lol".

I am a short-medium term investor/trader. While I need to see a strong fundamental but will always set stop-losses/sell-gains etc.

At the moment there is a lot of hype and "potential" in the infant formula sector. Same goes for Cobalt, Lithium, Graphite, Uranium, Rare Earth, Iron Ore, Coal etc. depending how far you go back.

I have found trading and short-medium term investing in "what is hot" is the best way. Never fall in love with a stock. Before a bubble burst usually it takes about 18-24 months to inflate. First 3-6 months the inflation process is quite slow. Then there is usually a 3 month where things deflate or stagnate/plateau. Then the bubble burst (with a couple of attempts to reinflate along the way). Stop losses is the way to play. If the stock keeps going up then adjust the sell to "10-15%" of the upward movement (last traded price). Main thing is NEVER let a loss drag on.

While I enjoy reading fundamental research but I find too many people stick to this no matter what. I am astonished that when talking about a stock that could potentially fall by 50% some people even say "so what ... just means I can buy more cheaply". Imagine if your fund manager tells you the $100,000 you put in with him/her is now $50,000 but "do not worry even if it falls to $20,000 as you can buy more to average down and things will have to move up sometime".

Stocks is like a one night stand. Prepare to end it at the first sight of trouble.
