Elvis is still in the building!

We find the King (Bruce Campbell) as an elderly resident in an East Texas rest home, who switched identities with an Elvis impersonator years before his “death”, then missed his chance to switch back. Elvis teams up with Jack (Ossie Davis), a fellow nursing home resident who thinks that he is actually President John F. Kennedy (he claims they dyed him black), and the two old timers go into battle with an evil Egyptian entity who has chosen their long-term care facility as his happy hunting grounds…

By the end of the film you will actually believe that Elvis and JFK are still alive, and maybe that a Mummy (named Bubba Ho-Tep) can steal your soul.

FILM FACTS

Bruce Campbell, doing one of cinemas great Elvis impressions, previously played Ash Williams in the Evil Dead Series.

Ossie Davis, legendary actor and politial activist, who plays JFK - actually met the President in the 60's. He was a featured speaker at the funerals of Martin Luther King, Jr and Malcolm X.
