I think they were trying to be open with the market but the ho-hum share price reaction indicated the market wasn't overly impressed. From my experience watching spec stocks, the market wants blue sky numbers. In the long term it doesn't really matter as it will approach it's intrinsic value over the long term, but if they were trying to massage the short term share price it did the opposite of what they wanted.
