It's a simple reflection of ethnic concentration. Box Hill has the highest concentration of Asians going back to the 1970's.
Any one who goes to Box Hill Plaza on any given day would have a hard time spotting a white face.
If you wander down Clarendon Street, you'd think you are in the middle of China Town.
So what if 50% of house buyers in Oakleigh are Greeks and 45% of buyers in Footscray are Vietnamese ?
Go to Berwick and you'll get ribbons, a trophy and a car prize for spotting a horde of Asians bidding at an auction.
Asians who buy now or bought in recent times will be be pulled into the funnel just the same.
I think they will fare worse for they fall easy prey to agents.
