I think the figure of graphite used for tesla cars is around 60kg per car, give or take.
60kg x 1000 = 60,000 kgs week or 3,120,000 kgs per year
= 3120T p.a
Sells at say $2000 T = $6,240,000 worth of Graphite.
I hope this post makes you understand that its great to bring up stories about Tesla increasing to 1000 cars per week, but when you break down the value of graphite, is it going to make any graphite producer rich from it?
