Therein lies the problem, when a crude instrument like rates is used as the main mechanism , primitive instruments leads to primitive results I am afraid. This is not a new scenario and the banks will continue to vie for business and here we go again. Lets look at the results not whether it is good and bad, it will happen because the rest of the economy has been hit too hard.
Low rates equals massive incentive to buy and build and then the fuzzy feeling of goodwill overtakes us, up go the prices , up goes the talk, in come the investors ...seem familiar?
But I thought there was a bubble already? Why the speak of one to come? Now I am confused!
