Goats prefer different fodder to cows, as they wont do or milk well on predominantly grass.
Goats tend to have alot of hoof problems in wet environments. They need a place to get out of the rain.
Goats also need more mineral intake.
They prefer dier conditions.
Many dairy goat herds throughout the world stay indoors and are feed grains etc
