the other thing I would caution from freedom food is to see if they are selling to Coles or to distributors, how much stock they are holding in inventory. that will affect futures sales in FY21. ie if it's not selling well in supermarket or through distributors, in future quarters, they won't order as much. also, if bubs market is majority Chinese market, if they are discounting so much, it cheapens the brand. I think this financial year results will be fine but I wonder what the growth will be like. a2 milk invested in being a premium brand and the a2 difference. caprilac and bubs are priced cheaper and always on sale. I looked at today's ranking by sales volumn for goat milk powder on TMall which is Alibaba owned site, maxigenes is aussie brand and in top 5 with sales of 4259 units this month. caprilac is way down on the rankings with 934 units sold in the rankings. maxigenes sells for 119 Chinese dollars for 400g. caprilac which is owned by bubs is 388 Chinese dollars for 2x1kg bags. bubs is even lower on the sales ranking for goat milk infant formula. they will struggle for growth if they can't compete with maxigenes which is australian for goat milk and karicare for goat infant formula. do your own research.
