Cheers Seano .... I looked a bit more last night.
I’m coincidentally having sunset pizza tomorrow with the ‘woeful’ friend and and will now have lots of Bubs gossip to share.
(I did pass on to him, more than a year back, that price falling under 82c and then under 75c was not good news according to the chart @Saragian had put up in February 2020[ref])

Seeing as I am here, and have looked, to share more history for anyone else new out there..
(and please, Bubs long termers, correct me if I am wrong) ...

    ....It seems Bubs was set up four and a bit years back as a glamour cash cow by a young bunch of financial glitterati who included;
-Wealthy Chinese influencer, Nancy Zhang*, and her ‘finance whiz’ husband, Qiangdong (Richard) Liu; founder of major Chinese online store, JD.Com Inc.
-Jessica Rudd, daughter of ex PM Kevin, and her (now ex), ‘finance whiz’ Hong Kong-born husband, Albert Tse,
-‘Finance whiz’ Packer mates - Ellerston capital. [20/11/2016 Pre IPO SMH story]
-and the entrepreneur goat milk and baby enthusiast, founder, and current CEO, Kristy-Lee Newland Carr - a likely friend and business associate of the others, she had established the company some years before and was already selling through JD.com?

They decided to list publicly, and so did a reverse takeover of an ailing ‘unmeritous’ litigation firm, , itself born from a miner, whose boss found himself - for a brief two weeks before he bailed - the chairman of a baby milk enterprise. [20/11/2016 Pre IPO SMH story]

So who’s holding the baby these days?
    Just Kristy?
Does she still want to nurse Bubs?
Her IPO colleagues seem to have all gone their separate ways and she has just poached (?) ‘Milk Man’ Fabrizio Jorge from Fonterra a few weeks back as COO, and suddenly volume across the last two days is more than 5% of the company’s shares.
.....Even considering ‘churn’ it seems a solid chunk of shares are on the move?

    cheers

    PS More background references:
[Original Top 20 BUBS holders ]
At the top of that list was First Step Global - owned by *Nancy Zhang; ‘Sister Milk Tea’ once the glamour face of Bubs in China .... the daughter of a high profile Chinese family who had married high profile Quiangdong in a lavish Sydney ceremony in 2015 [ref]
-There were subsequent high profile problems for that family arising around August 2018 according to someone called Tom Nickel (https://tomnickel.medium.com/sister-milk-tea-164744c2e983) although according to @8 horse , Next Step may have sold out completely by then [26/06/18 ref] .. see also 8horse post [10/07/17 Related substantial holders]..

Next was Ellerston Capital, now gone
..Shining Star is no longer shining ..

    Who is left these days?
The presumed JD.com competitor-linked CR Capital (who arrived in 2019 via a capital raise) is still there although its holding was diluted by another raise last year?
And quite a few sour long term holders?

These days the Top 20 holders hold under 40% according to Market Index [Current Top 20 holders], and it seems to me that few of the originals are left.

    ... Time for a change?

    Cheers
