zarzone, i agree with most of your general sentiments re Bci's likely involvement in the WPIOP.
However, there has been no public disclosures that i am aware of, or that i have located, which indicate that Aurizon have sold, withdrawn, or exited, from their 15% shareholding in the WPIOP.
Yes, i agree that they have written down their investments to zero, but that is simply an accounting function. Their 15% shareholding and the write down of their investments are two separate issues.
My point is, if as i suspect Aurizon still maintain their 15% shareholding, they could cause problems for Bci's Cape Preston port proposal. This i see as one of Bci's major issues and could impact not only the Port, but also the timing of commencement of their Buckland Hills mine/s.
I see a potential solution in Min buying out Aurizon's shareholding, although whether Aquila and Aurizon will allow this to occur is debatable.
As i said before, it will be very interesting to see how all this plays out.
I also firmly agree that it is a great time to top up.
