So tell me
- How can renewables provide baseload power?
- How does the power generated from these massive fields get to the grid?
- What sort of battery backup is required?
- Where does the power come from is by 2030...were all in EVs
- How competitive are they if:
- their subsidies are removed
- the costs of storage and transmission are included and
- the imposts imposed on coal and gas were removed
- Where do you stand on the Green's policy to close all coal mines in about 6 to 7 years?
- What's the impact on the coal industry; particularly the employment sector
- What's the impact on the revenue lost?
- Where does our power come from if coal and gas are gone by then,....what's going to replace it?
- Hydro and Nuclear are clearly THE answer in a Green's world - why are they opposed to them?
A lot of questions
I for one would like to see a debate - televised - in which experts - on both sides - nut this out in public so we can see what is real or what isnt, what's true and what isnt, whats achievable and what isnt and what is hyperbole and what isnt
At the moment we have folks on both sides spruiking away and we - the meat in the sandwich - are none the wiser but end up footing the bill
BTW...I drive a Tesla and have a large solar array at home.
