Thanks for that. The Australian article is behind its subscription paywall - but it mentions the Peter Doherty institute leading the pilot.

Yup, looks good that VIC gov and hopefully AU gov, is keeping all options open in testing/trying to use the best available tech in keeping this under control here.
This is a bit ironic also because back on 29 June, below Sydney Morning Herald article + PDI's comments indicated that their saliva test was only 87% effective & should be used only as 'second resort' compared to PCR.....guess they have succeeded in improving it since then
