I'm not saying FXL has a bad balance sheet or is a bad investment. What I want to emphasise is that all the holders complaining that FXL is a dog stock because it's not keeping up with it's peers fail to realize that FXL is running a different race. Hence it's important not to buy into FXL expecting an APT-like miracle.
FXL will be fine, but it'll be slow and steady but with far less execution risk (albeit higher credit risk) and also pays a small divvie. Different race to it's peers.
Like I've said, it's really important to understand the differences in these companies so you don't buy the wrong one (for your investment thesis) and then get frustrated.
