I think Buckley can certainly hold his head high the way he has stepped down. Everyone has a use by date and I would be surprised if he did not end up coaching elsewhere at some point. I imagine he did not want to go through the upending of the Club board etc and like my team they ( Magpies ) have a fair way to wait to build their team for ultimate success.
