You have reminded me of the year I swear I saw Father Christmas in the house at 3am on Christmas morning. I was taking a sneak peek at the lounge room and noticed a pile of presents scattered everywhere. I was so sh** scared when I saw him I ran back to bed. At 7am we all went back. It was the year I got my first budgerigar. He was green and yellow with blue flecks on his face. After careful deliberation - we called him Pete.
It was happy days that Christmas.
A bit like today.
