    i work for a major corporation in Australia totally reliant on sales.
    if i walked in and said hey everyone got a couple of companies in the pipeline but can only give you the gross revenue for the total book at each quarter BUT i want my bonus i would get laughed out of the room.

    hopefully CEO will recognise the MKT wants names and expected value of contracts that will, now that would quantify milestones being hit and bonuses being validated.
