big cap stocks plan it because analysts need to know so they can be ready. its all orchestrated to suit the strength of demand
small cap stocks - esp ones not in an index - dont have the same demands. there are still analysts who cover in some cases - but they dont have a daily insto following demanding result analysis
as a result big caps go first and most small caps put out news on last day of qtr - esp 'pre cashflow' stocks as they dont have material cashflow statements
