Actually it likely isn’t loss of faith
individual holders may capitulate sell on track record - but there are always new investors to buy if valuation is attractive enough
it is ‘down’ here because previous mgt took on debt + issued a lot of shares - diluting the value per share very significantly
market cap no longer offers a useful way of measuring the share value - if you add options + full finance cost the shares are worth nearly 100% less than ‘mkt cap’ suggests
and it’s ‘down here’ because that was the cost - but market is yet to see proof of the benefit
it needs to deliver proof of strong profitability to start heading up
how often do we see private ‘forecast’ revenue targets not be met, once a company lists? I mean market-wide not just Lifx.
That’s what market is waiting to see from this consumer lighting company..
