A lot of nice philosophy in Buddhism, I have no good reason to believe it's core beliefs of Karma/reincarnation are true so I am not a Buddhist. There is also a LOT of similarity between Buddhism and Christianity (for those that can see). Whenever I've said that to any of my Buddhist mates they get all shitty with me showing that A) they're not as enlightened as they pretend and B) They don't really understand Buddhism NOR Christianity. :)
Yes the Bhudda was a real guy, as were Jesus, and Mohammed. Not sure what that proves though.
