X amount of people bought organic facial wash, organic fruit but non organic meats & other non organic products when in fact organic meats & fruit were available . Why did customers pass up the opportunity to also purchase other organic products? Price would be the first culprit. This info could be fed real time back to the manufacturer ms or producers who may then realise that they need to decrease their margins to get more product through the shelves & hence gain more market share etc!
One of a multitude of examples of how the Iot info can benefit all involved in the product chain.
